Week 1 had us still in the hospital, coming home 3 days after she was born. We were able to give her a "sponge bath" because her umbilical chord was still attached. She slept well in the hospital. We did not want her to scratch her face, so we had mittens on her. When those fell off every 5 seconds, we resorted to socks :) See the precious pictures below.
Saying her "prayers". She is most certainly an answered prayer to her mommy and daddy. We dreamed of her for so long, and she has exceeded all of our expectations. A true blessing from our wonderful Father Above!
She did NOT like her first bath. Now that we can submerge her, she likes it a lot better.
She was much happier when Daddy wrapped her in a warm towel. This might be my favorite picture of her. She is so precious.
